Sponsored by the Nampa Recreation Department and Idaho Central Credit Union. Offered in cooperation with the Nampa School District. This program will provide an opportunity for youth to learn basic skills and teamwork in a recreational atmosphere. Children register on a team coached by a parent volunteer. Each week, teams will have two 1-hour practices (Kindergarten and 1st Grade teams will have one 45-minute practice). Games are played on Saturdays. Practices and games are held at Nampa School District gyms. Coaches needed! If you are interested in working with or coaching a team let us know on your child’s registration form.

Pickleball is a combination of badminton, tennis and ping pong. It is played on a badminton size court using a whiffle ball and composite paddle. It is easy for beginners to learn and can develop into competitive play for experienced players. Gym shoes required. Class is for active older adults.

A fun, low impact fitness class for women that teaches the fundamental movements of belly dance while helping to inspire self-confidence. This seven-week course progresses with each class. Ages 18 and up

Players will have a weekly match where they are placed with an opponent of their same ability level. Once paired up, players will be responsible to reserve court space and schedule their own matches. Matches will be self-officiated. Players can choose to participate in singles, doubles or both. Fee includes sleeve of balls.
The beginning class covers the fundamentals of Tai Chi including: basic movements, breathing, meditation, warm-up form and an introduction on the Yang Style Short form. The intermediate class continues with movements, breathing, meditation, the Yang Short form, Yang Long form and an introduction to push hands (Tai Chi sparring).
