    Join Nampa Parks and Rec for this outdoor volleyball league. Games will be played in a 4 on 4 format at the Nampa Rec Center’s back lawn. Each team will play one self-officiated match on Tuesday evenings with a total of 8 matches. Teams with the best record at the end of the season will be awarded champion t-shirts. Ages 15 and up

    This fun and exciting eight week Junior League gives kids the opportunity to get out on the course and compete with other kids their own age. Kids will compete in various weekly competitions (Scramble, Best Ball, Fewest Putts, Mystery Hole, Blind Hole, Stroke Play, etc…) and must provide their own clubs.   4. Jr. Lifeguard Boot Camp

    June 2, 2020, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Lions Park

    Learn what it takes to be a lifeguard, such as recognizing a drowning victim, how to assist someone who is struggling in the water and how to perform CPR and First Aid. Must be able to swim 25 yards front crawl, 25 yards breaststroke and tread water for one minute. Upon completion each student will receive an American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification. Ages 11-14

    This American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course demonstrates how to teach Red Cross swimming lessons and set up lesson plans. If you have a desire to become a swimming instructor, then this is the perfect class for you. Course prerequisites are 25 yards in the following 6 strokes: front crawl, backcrawl, breaststroke, butterfly, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke. If you are unsure whether you can complete the prerequisites, sign up for a skills evaluation. Refund request must be made 4 business days before start of class.
