West Park
This 44 acre park was built by the City of Nampa in 1974 and funded by a Land and Water Conservation grant. Ample picnic areas, large open spaces, and sports facilities make West Park a focal point in the Nampa community.
West Park has a large all inclusive playground for kids with all abilities.
West Park is home to Nampa’s first softball complex, built in 1977 and offers four softball fields. The sport complex helps meet the recreational needs of adult city softball, high school softball, and area youth softball leagues. The softball fields are topped with a pumice mixture that provides a great playing surface. In addition to softball fields, West Park offers a sand volleyball court, an outdoor basketball court, horseshoes, and a fitness path.
A 9-hole disc golf course to the park system in 2008.
