Coming Soon! Opening Summer 2024
Thank you for your patience as we work to finalize the new Huckleberry Dog Park. We look forward to opening soon. Due to the particular use of the park, it is important to have the turf well established. In March, we plan to reseed grass in some of the areas of the park. Growing turf in the spring is weather dependent and a little unpredictable. However, we anticipate opening the park around June 1, 2024. We will update this message as we finalize an exact date.
The park is approximately nine acres in size and has a separate area for small/senior dogs. The park features many walking trails, large grassy areas and a water misting station to help keep dogs cool during the hot summer months.
Huckleberry dog park is completely fenced for a safe experience. Restrooms are available during park operating hours. Water fountains are also available for humans and dogs.
Nampa’s dog parks provide a safe place for people and their dogs to exercise and socialize. Our dog parks are popular and well attended. While visiting, you will find the true community spirit of our Nampa citizens. You may also want to visit Nampa's Amity Dog Park.
