1. Why do the prices for the Nampa Rec Center occasionally go up?

The Nampa Recreation Center is a self funded facility. That means that we must recover enough revenue to cover our expenses in payroll, utilities, new equipment, etc. We are not a tax subsidized facility which means that in order to keep up with rising costs, we must increase our rates. They typically raise at the current rate of inflation.

2. Can I cancel my membership at anytime and get a refund?

No. The purchase of a Nampa Recreation Center annual membership obligates you to the entire year membership. Nampa Recreation Center memberships are non-refundable. Monthly payment options may be cancelled with no penalty after the completion of 12 monthly payments.

3. Can I transfer my membership to someone else?

Yes, you may transfer your membership to another person as long as they are not a current member of the Nampa Recreation Center. You must contact the Nampa Rec Center front desk to process a transfer and there is a $30 transfer fee.

4. Why do I pay the same rate for my family of 2 as a family of 6 pays?

The Nampa Recreation Center was founded on the idea that it would remain an affordable place for all families. When the original pricing structure was put in place it was designed that the Couple Membership would include children for free, no matter if there were 2 children or 6 children. This has become known as the Family Membership.

5. May I pick the day of the month my monthly payment comes out of my account?

No. The bank allows us one day per month to process the payments and that is on the 1st of the month.

6. Can I pay off my contract early?

Yes, you may pay off your membership contract in full early. For details please contact our Membership Coordinator.
