Safety protocols and guidelines.
Nampa Parks & Recreation are continuing the protocols and guidelines that have been put in place to help keep our patrons, participants, members and staff safe. Here are some reminders: * Please remember that if you are not feeling well, stay home. Your workout, game or class can wait until you are feeling better. * Acknowledge physical distancing. While participating in activities at our facilities or in our programs, please maintain 6 feet between you and others.* Practice good hand washing/sanitizing. As you begin and end an activity please wash/sanitize your hands. If you are sharing equipment, proper hand sanitizing should be done prior to and after equipment use. * Cough/Sneeze into your elbow.* Don’t touch your face. Between the times you are washing or sanitizing your hands, keep from touching your face. * Face Coverings are recommended and allowed. *The Rec Center cardio & weight room equipment is spaced at least 6 feet apart to allow distancing while working out. There is a maximum number of participants allowed in fitness classes, again to allow for appropriate distancing. Additional sanitation stations have been added for our patrons convenience and ask equipment users to disinfect the equipment they use before and after use. Our staff continue to clean high touch points throughout the facility and hourly attention to restrooms, locker rooms, door handles, stair handrails and other common touch surfaces in the Rec Center. The spread of COVID-19 is affecting us all. As we do our part to contribute to the health & wellness in our community, Nampa Parks & Recreation wants to continue to provide safe activities and programs to help keep you and your family active. Nampa Parks & Recreation has mitigation plans in place that follow the CDC and Southwest District Health recommendations and guidelines to maintain safe spaces. We ask for your help in keeping our community safe and well. Thank You!
