What is Rails to Trails?
When a local railway was abandoned the property was deeded to the City of Nampa. The abandoned railway has made a great trail for Nampa citizens. In the mid 1990’s the trail was an undeveloped dirt path that had little use. With City capital allocations and funding through the Idaho Department of Land, Stoddard Pathway has evolved into a nice paved pathway with natural grasses and beautiful trees. The abandoned railway has made a great pathway for our Nampa citizens.
