Whether you are new to the exciting world of rock climbing or a seasoned pro, the Rock Climbing Wall has something for everyone. We’ve got vertical walls, overhangs, roofs, slabs, chimneys and two large boulders. Come climb with us…you’ll have fun and get fit at the same time.

This introductory class is designed to teach the young climber and their parent(s) the basics of safe climbing. Try a sport you can enjoy together for a lifetime of fun. A parent MUST participate in the class with their child. Fee includes both parent and child. September 1st November 3rd Wednesdays; 5-6:30 pm Ages 6-13, Member $15 or Non Member $17

Rock climbing is not a boys only sport! Ladies, come out on Fridays and receive free climbing equipment rental. All you need to bring is yourself and a belayer. Fridays. 4:00pm - 9:00pm

Having trouble getting your parents to belay you at the climbing wall? Parents, are your kids driving you up the walls? Once a week, NRC staff will belay for kids 13 years of age and younger. Thursdays (6:30pm-7:30pm) $3 harness rental fee applies

Learn everything you need to know to earn your BSA Rock Climbing Merit Badge in a safe and fun environment. Dates and times are by appointment and will be customized to meet the troop's specific needs. Four hours of instruction are necessary and must be broken into two sessions. A minimum of three scouts is required per class. Group rate available for groups of four or more. $28 per person. By appointment only. Kids climbing competition for ages 6-12 only. Parents bring your youngster out for an awesome day of roped climbing as well as bouldering at the Nampa Rec Center.
