Advanced Step

Jazzercise

An effective exercise combination of jazz, dance-based choreography and popular music. This workout conditions every part of your body from your cardiovascular system to your muscles. The instructor demonstrates both challenging movements and low-impact variations.

Pilates

This class is designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles within the body through a series of exercises aimed at building muscle strength and rebalancing the body. Excellent for improving posture, strength and flexibility and aligning the body correctly, Pilates also trains coordination, concentration and muscular control.

Seniorcise

Group Cycle

A workout without comparison! Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hills climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping! • New participants should show up 5 minutes early to check in with the instructor. • Reserve a bike at the Nampa Rec Center Front Desk no earlier than 6:00 pm, two days prior to the class. • A water bottle and a hand towel are highly recommended. • No cleats on the studio floor

Ultimate Workout

This class combines a step workout and an upper body strength and endurance workout using dumbells and bands for resistance. Core strength and flexibility exrcises will also be focused on.

Kardio Kick

This workout uses various combinations of contact strikes and kicks (with a freestanding kick boxing bag). The class focus is on cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training with an emphasis on proper striking and kicking techniques, balance and control. • New participants should show up 5 minutes early to check in with the instructor. • No rings or other jewelry on hands or wrists. • Gloves provided if needed.
