This program will prepare athletes for the triathlon season, specifically the NRC Indoor Triathlon on February 5th. Whether you're looking to fully submerge yourself into triathlons, or if you're more interested in simply testing the waters, this program is for you. Participants will have the oppurtunity to meet once a week with coaches to discuss how their training is going. There will also be guest speakers, clinics, and seminars throughtout the 10 week program. Includes 10 weeks training and race registration. Tuesdays 6-7pm November 30-February 2

The Harvest Classic Youth Fun Run is a 1.0 mile walk/run for school children grades K-8. A post-race drawing will be held for all school age participants. In connection with the youth race we host a school participation competition and award 8-$250 cash prizes to the winning schools' Physical Education Departments. For more information call the Nampa Recreation Department. Race will start and finish at the NRC parking lot. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Check-in: 7am-8:30am (race starts at 9:00am). Registration Fee: $10. Registration Deadline: September 14. Registration will begin at a later date.

Join us for this annual event that is fun for the entire family. Races are set for the professional runner, the leisure runner and the everyday walker. A post-race drawing will be held for participants. Race divisions include a 8K (5 mile) run, 2 mile run, and 2 mile walk. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Packet pickup will be Friday, September 17th, 8:00am-7:00pm or on race day starting at 7:00am. Check-in 7:00am-8:30am (Race starts at 9:30am). ***Bus for 8k will depart at 8:45am***. 2 mile walk/run will start and finish at the NRC parking lot. Registration: $17. The NRC presents the 10th Annual "Beginners Triathlon" which includes a 1/8 mile swim, 4 mile ride (upright stationary bike) and 1 1/2 mile indoor run. All participants will receive a prize.
